Dr. Ravi A. Shah earned his bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He then interned at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City, before completing his ophthalmic residency at UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School. Afterward, he undertook a cornea and refractive surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
Dr. Shah specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of corneal disease and corneal transplantation. In addition, he performs laser eye surgery, such as LASIK®, for correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. He has particular expertise in small incision cataract surgery, techniques for astigmatism correction, and the use of multifocal and presbyopia-correcting lens implants.
