We’re fully in the swing of summer now, and that means that your calendar is probably filling up fast with plenty of fun activities and events. We’re proud to be a part of the New Jersey community, and we want you to be able to experience the best that the Garden State has to offer. Festivals are some of the best entertainment for the whole family, and you’ll usually have at least a couple days to catch the excitement. So we’ve put together a list of all the can’t-miss festivals in New Jersey that you still have time to plan for this summer.
July 4th– 26th Annual Oceanfest
This family friendly festival is the largest Independence Day celebration in New Jersey, so head on down to Long Branch and take in the sights and sounds of summer on the Jersey Shore!
July 8-10- The Anglesea Blues Festival
This weekend long festival is all about celebrating with blues and barbeque. Live music, as well as the NJ State Barbeque Championship make this a festival that you won’t want to miss. This free event will be held throughout Wildwood, New Jersey, so mark your calendars now!
July 22-24- St. Ann’s Italian Festival
St. Ann’s Italian festival in Hoboken is celebrating its 105th year! So come out and celebrate with rides, games, music, and of course—all the delicious Italian food you could dream of.
Aug. 4-7- Highlands Clam Festival
Highlands will host the Clam Festival in Huddy Park, bringing in dozens of fresh seafood and clam vendors as well as live entertainment, games and rides.
Aug. 13th– Truck-Erton Food Truck and Brew Fest
Truckerton Seaport is hosting dozens of gourmet food trucks, along with plenty of beer and wine. You can also help out a good cause by donating an item to the food pantry and saving $1 off the $8 price of admission.
Aug. 27th– Cohansey River Fest
This all day festival is located at the Bridgeton Waterfront, and features a 5K, a kayak challenge, and a vintage Mustang car show.
Sept. 2-4- 45th Annual Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival
This Labor Day tradition will feature performances by headliners such as Steep Canyon Ranger, Seldom Scene, Ricky Skags & Kentucky Thunder, and The Boxcars. There’s also a kid’s academy program for young musicians and campsites available for weekend stays.
