Kayla E. McGuiness is an optometrist that completed her residency in Primary Care with an emphasis on Ocular Disease and Low Vision at the VA New Jersey Health Care System. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry, where she was honored on the Dean’s List and received Clinical Honors. Dr. McGuiness also holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from the University of Miami.
She has gained extensive clinical experience through externships at the Cornea and Laser Eye Institute, Eye Rx, Providence VA Medical Center, and Martha Eliot Health Center at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her training has focused on managing complex ocular conditions, pediatric optometry, and low vision care.
A member of the American Optometric Association, Dr. McGuiness is proficient with advanced diagnostic tools and EHR systems. She is dedicated to providing high-quality care and has a strong interest in ocular disease management and low vision rehabilitation.

Since you arrived you will be attended by great staff. They do a complete eye exam. They are very careful with the cleaning of every machine before you use it. You don’t have to wait too long in order to see the doctor who by the way is very clear to explain your condition. He is very professional and polite. I will highly recommend this place. By far, the best group of Drs. in the industry. I have seen 3 of their Drs. and they were all above and beyond!! If you have any eye issues they will greatly help you with their great knowledge and compassion!! Would recommend OCLI over and over again!!

The practices of OCLI Vision offer eye care services at locations throughout Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and West Virginia and specialize in primary vision care, LASIK, cataract surgery, glaucoma, diabetic eye care, and other services for patients in the Northeast.
