Ronald J. LoPinto, MD, is a board certified ophthalmologist. After receiving his degree in biology from Manhattanville College he went on to get his medical degree from New York Medical College. After graduating, Dr. LoPinto completed a residency in ophthalmology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center/North Shore University Hospital.
Dr. LoPinto has several publications and is an active member of both the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Medical Association.
My experience was very pleasant. The office and medical staff is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Dr LoPinto not only has a great bedside manner but also explains the result of the exam and makes you feel completely comfortable .
The staff is very efficient and friendly. I was taken in quickly and moved to each of the eye examinations. The best part was getting a good report from Dr. LoPinto❗️

I have only been a patient for about 2 years. So far my experiences have been positive. From the doctors to the office staff–all who I have encountered are personable and knowledgeable. Last year I had a dangerous situation with one of my eyes, a corneal ulcer. It so happened that they were open on the particular Saturday I called and saw me right away. Dr. LoPinto diagnosed me and he and his staff got me an immediate appointment with a cornea specialist that same day. Luckily my eyesight was not compromised and I am left with minimal scarring. From what I understand it had the potential to be much worse. This is why I have given then a 5 star rating.
Dr Lopinto is fantastic. I had cataract surgery performed at a relatively young age. It went much better than I could have imagined. He always spends time with me making sure all my questions and concerns were addressed
The reception staff was efficient and friendly. The process was quick and straight forward. Dr LoPinto provided detailed diagnosis and answered our questions providing us with clearly.
This was my second visit to the office. It’s nice to see a medical office that runs pretty close to scheduled appointments. The office is well managed and very organized. All of the staff are excellent. The technician who worked with me was exceptional(sorry I can’t remember her name). Dr. Lopinto is a caring physician who gave me a thorough examination and took the time to explain everything about my upcoming procedure. The surgical coordinator was also excellent. All in all, a well run medical office.

After an easy electronic check-in, I was greeted by a staffer who took me to an office and started my testing immediately. The interviews are thorough and the staff is always courteous. Dr. Lo Pinto always reviews the test results and answers any questions I may have in detail. Very comfortable with the care that is given here.
