David M. Armesto, MD, FACS, is a board-certified ophthalmologist as well as a fellowship-trained refractive surgeon specializing in corneal transplants and refractive surgery techniques. Dr. Armesto was the first physician in the Harrisburg, PA area to perform refractive surgery (LASIK). Dr. Armesto is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University and the State University of New York Upstate Medical Center. He completed his residency at the Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco and served as the Chief of Ophthalmology for US forces in Europe.
Since 1992, Dr. Armesto has served the central PA area providing high-quality eye care services. In 2001 he opened his private practice Armesto Eye Associates, which is now part of OCLI Vision. He has won numerous awards for his work and also works as a clinical assistant professor of ophthalmology at The Department of Veterans Affairs Lebanon Medical Center.
The practices of OCLI Vision offer eye care services at locations throughout Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and West Virginia and specialize in primary vision care, LASIK, cataract surgery, glaucoma, diabetic eye care, and other services for patients in the Northeast. These locations include practice locations of OCLI Vision as well as the practice locations of other vision services providers and ambulatory surgery centers supported by the administrative services of Spectrum Vision Partners.
