Board-certified, fellowship-trained Comprehensive Ophthalmologist. Dr. Silva specializes in cataract and glaucoma surgery and treatment, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, glaucoma drainage implants, and premium IOL placement. Dr. Silva completed most of his schooling and training in Venezuela before moving to France for a glaucoma fellowship. After practicing for a few years in Venezuela, Dr. Silva moved to New York and completed another fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. Dr. Silva is fluent in English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese. He was the president of the Venezuelan Glaucoma group and currently serves as a scientific reviewer for the Brazilian Archives of Ophthalmology.

The practices of OCLI Vision offer eye care services at locations throughout Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and West Virginia and specialize in primary vision care, LASIK, cataract surgery, glaucoma, diabetic eye care, and other services for patients in the Northeast.
