Taylor J. Linaburg, MD is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery. She combines rigorous academic training with a meticulous, outcomes-driven clinical approach to deliver personalized care across the full spectrum of corneal and refractive pathology.
Dr. Linaburg earned her undergraduate degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business, completed post-baccalaureate medical training at Johns Hopkins University, and received her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was recognized for excellence in research. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Scheie Eye Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, earning the Paul D. Addis Resident Research Award & Grant for her excellence in research. She is currently completing a Cornea, Cataract & Refractive Surgery Fellowship at OCLI Vision under the mentorship of world-renowned surgeon Dr. Eric Donnenfeld, with advanced training in cataract surgery, premium intraocular lenses, laser vision correction, corneal transplantation, and complex ocular surface disease.
Dr. Linaburg is an accomplished clinician-scientist, with numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts, invited review articles, and book chapters in leading ophthalmology journals. Her research spans corneal infections, ocular surface disease, postoperative cataract complications and refractive outcomes, and she is a frequent presenter at major scientific meetings including ASCRS, ARVO, and the World Cornea Congress.
Dr. Linaburg’s clinical practice focuses on corneal and anterior segment surgery, including advanced cataract procedures utilizing femtosecond-laser technology and premium intraocular lens options to optimize visual outcomes. She has a particular interest in the diagnosis and management of keratoconus and other corneal ectatic disorders, including corneal cross-linking, and is experienced in endothelial and full-thickness corneal transplantation. Her practice also includes laser vision correction procedures such as LASIK and PRK. She is known for her thoughtful, evidence-based approach and commitment to achieving the highest level of visual quality for her patients.
She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, is licensed in New York and Pennsylvania, and is proud to care for patients at OCLI Vision. Beyond her professional work, she enjoys a balanced lifestyle with interests in travel, hiking, and cooking.
