Dr. Thomas Krulewski is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over three decades of experience in comprehensive eye care, academic instruction, and ophthalmic research. He was the principal of Eye Physicians of Lancaster and has served in leadership roles including Division Chief of Ophthalmology at Lancaster General Hospital and Instructor in Ophthalmology at Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Krulewski graduated with honors from Harvard University. He earned both his medical degree and PhD from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he was recognized with the Doctoral Dissertation Award and the John A. Hartford Foundation Fellowship. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA, serving as Chief Resident and receiving the Resident Clinical Research Award.
His early research contributed to scientific understanding of retinal degeneration and genetic eye diseases, with publications in major journals and abstracts presented at national meetings. Dr. Krulewski has also served on FDA advisory panels and international medical missions, demonstrating a commitment to public health and medical advancement.
An active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Krulewski continues to offer expert, compassionate medical and surgical care to his patients while remaining engaged in the broader medical community.
