Biography

Dr. Trisha Mor is a highly skilled ophthalmologist with over a decade of clinical and leadership experience in New York City. She previously served as the Medical Director of Ophthalmology at Mount Sinai Morningside, where she also acted as the Co-Director of the Retina Service. As a hospital-based retina specialist, she has provided essential care for complex ocular conditions throughout the Upper West Side.

Dr. Mor specializes in the medical treatment of the retina, vitreous, and macula. Her clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and management of macular degeneration, vascular diseases of the eye, retinal tears and holes, and floaters. She also maintains a strong focus on the treatment and monitoring of diabetic eye disease. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Mor is dedicated to forming long-lasting relationships and providing specialized education for her Spanish-speaking patient population. In addition to her clinical practice, she has spent years teaching ophthalmology residents in both clinic and surgical settings.

Dr. Mor earned her medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her postgraduate training at Maimonides Medical Center and her ophthalmology residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, where she served as Chief Resident. She further specialized by completing a Medical Retina Fellowship at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center under the mentorship of Dr. Vincent Reppucci.

Throughout her career, Dr. Mor has been recognized for her excellence and community service. She was a recipient of the Open Island Science Scholarship—a full merit-based award from the Government of Trinidad & Tobago—and received a Service Award for unsurpassed community service from St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital. In 2023, she was featured in the MSM Ambulatory team spotlight for International Women’s Day.

Dr. Mor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the New York State Ophthalmological Society.
