Biography
Glenn Stoller, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical diseases of the retina. Dr. Stoller graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from the University of Rochester with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He received numerous awards while in medical school, including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the Valentine Mott Medal for his contribution to clinical investigation in surgery, and the Solomon and Doris Shapiro Award for Excellence.
Dr. Stoller completed his ophthalmology residency at The Harkness Eye Institute at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York and has served as a clinical instructor in ophthalmology at New York Hospital at Cornell Medical Center. He also served as an assistant clinical professor at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Medical College, and New York University Hospital. Dr. Stoller has been selected as a member of the prestigious Retina Society, a national society of leading retina specialists dedicated to reducing visual disability through education, collaboration, and research.
Dr. Stoller has been—and continues to be—an active researcher of promising new therapies for retinal diseases, including macular degeneration. He is personally involved in developing innovative treatments for blinding diseases and has lectured nationwide on his research for numerous professional societies, including The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retina Specialists, and The Retina Society.
