Mehdi A. Khan, DO, is a Vitreo-retinal Surgeon specializing in diseases and surgery of the retina, vitreous, and macula with an emphasis on diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and inflammatory disorders. Dr. Khan is also a (Ret’d) lieutenant colonel in the United States Air Force where he served as a flight surgeon and an accomplished researcher.
Dr. Khan received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, following which he completed his doctorate at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is also currently studying for a Masters in Public Health. After medical school, Dr. Khan completed his residency at Nassau University Medical Center and a prestigious Vitreo-retinal surgical fellowship at Tulane University Medical Center.
