Benjamin Chang, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in retina, LASIK, cataracts, and intravitreal injection. Dr. Chang received his A.B in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University, graduating Magna cum laude with Highest Honors. Dr. Chang then went on to complete his M.D. at UCLA followed by an internship in internal medicine. For his residency, he was Co-chief Resident at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This was followed by a 2-year fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital.
As the author of numerous articles and book chapters on ophthalmology and is co-editor of the widely referenced Wills Eye Manual. Currently a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Chang also holds a teaching position in Retina Service at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York, NY.
