Board-certified Comprehensive Ophthalmologist and Vitreoretinal Surgeon. Dr. Barash graduated from Cornell University Magna Cum Laude and received his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Since completing his residency at Stony Brook University, Dr. Barash has gone on to work as a retinal specialist and as an associate profession a the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. Dr. Barash’s research has been featured in a variety of publications and currently works as an ad-hoc reviewer for three publications, including Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Science. Committed to giving back, Dr. Barash has gone on numerous surgical missions around the world, including to Peru and Mongolia, and held volunteer positions with different organizations.
