Biography

Chasidy Singleton, MD, graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science, before receiving a Doctor of Medicine from Vanderbilt University Medical School. She then interned with the Department of Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt and completed her residency at Vanderbilt’s Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences.

Prior to joining OCLI in 2019, Dr. Singleton served as Medical Director and Chief of Ophthalmology at Nashville General Hospital, and held associate professor positions at Vanderbilt Eye Institute, the Veterans Administration Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, and Meharry Medical College at Nashville General Hospital.

Dr. Singleton has coauthored numerous manuscripts, including “Effect of Posture on Blood and Intraocular Pressures in Multiple System Atrophy, Pure Autonomic Failure, and Baroreflex Failure,” with D.W. Byrne and K.M. Jobs; “A Reliable and Sensitive Method for Fluorescent Photoconversion, Journal of Neuroscience Methods, with V.A. Casagrande; and The D’-> A’ Transition in IBr: a Deperturbation Analysis, Journal of Molecular Spectroscopy, with D.T. Radzykewycz, M.B. Carter, J.O. Clevenger, J.H. Purvis, and J. Tellinghuisen.
